REUSABLE PLASTIC TRAYS
The Reusable plastic trays cover the plant’s root system, directing water and fertilizer directly to the root, while protecting the earth around the root from weeds and extreme temperatures. The trays are easy to use and bring tremendous added value to farmers, dramatically increasing crop yield, and enabling farmers to harvest more from each tree, faster. The trays are fully compatible with drip irrigation and other types of irrigation, as well as making optimal use of rainwater and dew.
These trays are good for business too and have undergone extensive trials, done by Israel leading agricultural researchers. The trays allow every farmer to get from every acre, with less.

- Faster time to market, a season sooner than control groups in most cases, thus allowing the grower to go to market sooner and reap benefits.

- The tray prevents weed growth, saving on herbicide costs. For organic farmers the savings is greater, as trays replace costs of workers for weed control
The way these trays work is -
- Water (irrigation water, rainwater or dew) slides down the ridges directly to the root.
- Water evaporated from the earth under the tray also makes it way back to the plant instead of evaporating into the air
- The area beneath the tray is not exposed to sunlight, preventing weed growth.
- The earth under the tray is protected from extreme temperatures, preventing loss of crops, and is very high quality soil.
- The opening in the tray makes for simple placement and removal and allows excess water to exit the tray.
- Trays can accompany trees from planting throughout the life of the tree.Currently, these Reusable Plastic Trays come in a standard – 72 x 55 cm and have a lifespan of 10 years. These trays are in use by farmers in – US, China, Chile, Georgia, Sri Lanka and Israel. These trays are relevant for a wide variety of crops including all citrus trees, mango, grapes, avocado, olive and more.
